Hello animal friends/friends of animals,
The new Dogs 2nd Chance Rescue is now live at http://www.dogs2ndchance.org. Dogs 2nd Chance rescues all dog types in the Munsford, TN area.
Website Fundraising Ideas The website has several fundraising widgets. Lucy's Medical Fund uses a "Donation Box" that asks for varying amounts from $1.25 to $25. Click the ChipIn! box to see the fund's daily progress. The Donation Thermometer uses the United Way type of graphic to show progress.
The "Free and Cool Ways to Help Dogs" button displays a number of fundraising and helpful websites. I went a little nuts on the Kuranda Beds pictures because really, what's more comforting than a comfortable dog?
About Our Artists... I continue to be extremely grateful to the incredible artists who are making these rescue websites stand out. Dogs2ndChance.org features art from our friends Craig and Tanya Amberson and Jay Schmetz.
Artists participating in the Free Animal Welfare Websites get credit on the first site they help out with, and every new free website thereafter. See the "About Our Artists" page on any recent free animal rescue site to see a typical credits page.
I want our volunteer artists to know how much I personally appreciate their donations. Rescue owners and their friends are sending giant "WOW" and "great new website!" notes. From the rescues, the animals and from me, THANK YOU TO OUR WONDERFUL ARTISTS.
Check out their work. I think you'll become a huge fan of these artist volunteers. Have you seen this one from Amberson Art? I just love these guys:

Rescue Websites There are three or four more websites in the pipeline to help those who help the animals. I've gotten very busy with work but I am still accepting applications for free websites. The delivery dates are now as much as two months.
