Healthy Paws is Giving Away Free Email/Blog/Facebook Web Sites to Help You Get Your Message Out

The Healthy Paws Foundation is giving away its Community Builder web sites to qualifying rescues.

From their site:

MapleThe Community Builder program helps animal adoption groups like yours increase adoptions, add volunteers and boost donations. Many of us were introduced to our first companion animals or discovered the local animal rescue through family or friends. The Community Builder program builds on the concept of word-of-mouth by leveraging modern day social networking techniques, to help local adoption groups build a grass roots community. By creating a two-way dialogue with a larger network, you can increase the number of potential adopters, volunteers and donors.

The Community Builder program is also sensitive to the fact that most animal adoption groups do not have the time or resources available to manage a set of social networking tools. Your energy needs to be focused on homeless animal care and adoption. That's why the Community Builder program requires a minimal time commitment and is fully funded through a Service Grant provided by The Healthy Paws Foundation.

They will help you build emails, newsletters, blogs, Facebook pages.

We're Getting Some Dogs

Hey rescue friends. John and I are going to adopt some dogs. Our wish list (subject to change) is 15-30 lb., soft like Cavalier Spaniels, high self esteem like West Highland Terriers, and smart like German Shepherds. We're going to get a pair that has already bonded and need to be adopted together. We have two very spoiled cats. They're voting "no" for now, but we'll work it out. We'll adopt young to middle-age, but not babies. If you want to send me candidates please email me at caroline@bogartcomputing.com. We're taking as much time as necessary in order to make the right decision.
