How an Author Adds an Article

While the Administrator can create, edit and delete any article, you might want to add users who have less power over the website's content.

An "Author" user can create an article. An Administrator must approve the article before it goes live.

This lesson shows how an "Author" user can create an article from the front end of the website.

  1. Login to the front end of the website as an "author" user
  2. In the User menu, click Submit a Story
  3. Add the Title, content, section, category, meta description and keywords
  4. Click Save.
